‘Harmonic Convergence’ is an immersive sound and light installation within the pedestrian walkway at Miami International Airport, created in collaboration between American artist Christopher Janney and the Perez & Perez design team. The Installation guides passengers from the Automated People Mover station to the terminal, blending vibrant colors, shifting light patterns, and the sounds of South Florida’s natural environment. Integrated speakers play a dynamic “song portrait” of the region, including tropical bird calls and thunderstorms, while video sensors adjust the soundscape in response to passenger movement, creating a constantly evolving, interactive experience.
