Perez & Perez provided the architectural design, station planning, and pedestrian mobility studies for the Panama Metro Line 2 Airport Extension, a 2.1 km elevated rail expansion connecting the main metro line to Tocumen International Airport. This project includes two new stations—one serving the Specialized Superior Technical Institute and a terminal station directly integrated with the airport. The extension is designed to accommodate 8,000 passengers per hour, enhancing connectivity for students, travelers, and airport staff while supporting the continued growth of Panama’s mass transit network.
