This 104,000-square-foot teaching, research, and administrative facility is located on the University Park campus in Miami. Designed around an open-air “Main Street” that connects administrative offices with modular laboratory spaces, the three-story building includes general classrooms, seminar rooms, and a lecture hall on the ground floor, with the physics and chemistry departments occupying the upper levels. A central rotunda serves as a hub for student and faculty interaction, fostering a vibrant academic environment. The building received the 1991 Award of Honor from the South Florida Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
